What does a massage therapist do?
A massage therapist uses his or her hands, fingers, forearms, and
elbows to provide gliding, rubbing, kneading, friction, and joint
mobilization to a client depending upon their physical condition, needs
and desires. Moist heat, ice, diaphragmatic breathing and therapeutic
exercises are also utilized by the massage therapist when appropriate
to help clients reduce pain, improve flexibility and circulation, and
reduce the negative effects that unchecked stress has on the human
mind and body.

As a customer, what can I expect during a Head2toe massage?
You can expect a professional relaxing therapeutic massage.

You can expect your therapist to be on time.

You can expect your therapist to listen and cater to your needs and
concerns.

You can expect a enjoyable experience.

What can I provide for the massage?
Be sure to turn off your phone's ringer and put yourself in a quiet area
of the house during the massage.  The therapist only brings items
necessary for the massage, your are invited to provide your own
items for ambiance, such as candles and incense.

Are all your therapists certified?
Yes.  All of our therapist have completed the necessary course work
and passed the required exams.

What products will be used during the massage?
A lavender based lotion which is not greasy. Your skin with feel
nourished and hydrated after the massage.

Certain spots really hurt when I am being worked on.  Is this
normal?
Certain massage styles tend to be more intense than others.  Deep
tissue massage for example may sometimes be uncomfortable.  If
you have an area that is extremely sore, breathing deeply helps.  
Intense pain is NOT normal, and your therapist will never go beyond
your comfort level.  It is important to communicate with your therapist
if something is too painful.

What if the pressure is too hard or not deep enough?  How can I
say something without hurting my therapist's feelings?
Each person's body is different, and responds to various levels of
pressure.  Your therapist knows this, and will work with you to insure
that enjoy the service being provided.  If something doesn't feel right,
tell the therapist and they will make changes to your preference.

Why should I drink water after a massage?
The massage increases your blood circulation, which moves waste
products throughout the body.  Increasing your water intake will help
your body flush some of these waste products.  If you don't drink
water you may get a headache, feel sore, or nauseous.
